Welcome to the 2nd Annual Deadhead Film Festival!

Join us on October 3, 2026, in St. Albans, West Virginia, for a full day celebrating independent horror cinema! Deadhead Film Festival brings together indie filmmakers, horror fans, and genre legends across two downtown venues for screenings, awards, networking, and live programming.

Film Screenings & Awards

During the day, catch our official 2026 film selections presented across two curated screening blocks at the Alban Arts Center. Stick around as we wrap up the day with our festival awards presentation celebrating the best in independent horror filmmaking, followed by a live Q&A with legendary horror icons Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2) and Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead).

10 am - 4pm Meet & Greet, Vendors & More

Head over to 63 Main Events (located right next to the Alban Arts Center) throughout the day for our festival meet-and-greet area! Explore an exciting lineup featuring:

• Local artists & indie horror creators

• On-site tattoo artists

• Unique vendors and merchandise

• Autograph sessions & paid photo opportunities with Bill Moseley & Ken Foree

 

 Important Note on Guest Pricing:

Autographs, selfies, and individual photo ops are set and collected directly by the actors’ management at their booths, so they are handled separately from festival admission. Deadhead Film Fest does not take any portion of this payment.

  • 10:00 AM: Doors open for VIP and select ticket holders (63 Main Events)

  • 1:00 PM: Official film screenings begin at the Alban Arts Center

  • 4:30 PM: Dead Carpet Opens 

  • 6:00 PM: Awards 

  • 7:00 PM: Q+A with Bill Moseley and Ken Foree

  • 8:00 PM: Reception (63 Main Events)
